MAN WANTED FOLLOWING A FATAL COLLISION IN HODDESDON
Dear Coordinator,
POLICE are appealing for help from members of the public to trace a man wanted in connection with a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on June 4, 2010 at around 2.30am on the A10 southbound carriageway exit slip road at Hoddesdon.
20-year-old Ricky Burlton from Enfield died following the collision, which involved a white Rover.
The vehicle was being driven by a man from Woodlands Road in Hertford, who is known as Georgios Tsoulos. Officers believe the man is from Albania but has been living in the country under this false identity. He is wanted for failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
Inspector Paul Davis from the Road Crash Investigation Unit said: "It is important we trace this man and would like to hear from anyone who knows of his whereabouts or believes they may have seen him to contact us with information.
"The injuries he has suffered are very distinctive. He has stitches running from the bridge of his nose above and across his right eyebrow and smaller cuts, which also needed stitches, on his right cheekbone and right side of his nose. I am sure people would recognise him if they saw him.
If you see him out and about but do not know where here he lives, please call 999 giving his location so police can take immediate action. If members of the public have any information on his whereabouts they should call Hertfordshire Constabulary's non emergency number 0845 33 00 222.
