In light of the burglaries this week where the offenders have posed as Police Officers please stress to your friends and neighbours the importance of checking the identity of callers to the door before they are allowed entry.  Use the phone book to locate the telephone number of the organisation rather than the number that they give or is shown on their card.   ALWAYS ASK FOR ID.  If you aren’t happy to allow them entry request they call or write to you to make a convenient appointment.
